Crypto Donations Made Easy
Previously, we focused on crypto donations over $500,000 that required more bespoke services. Based on the size, token and complexity, our flat fees ranged from $3,500 to $10,000. Our average donation was around $2 million. But this did not work well for donations in the $25,000-$500,000 range.
We are changing our pricing to be a simple 1% ($4,000 maximum cap) with a minimum fee of $500 for all crypto donations through Dechomai. We have made our Donor Advised Fund process much more streamlined and then the donors recommend grants to their favorite charity(ies) 30 days after we receive liquid settlement funds. We do everything else – donor education, create DAF, test transaction, full transaction, sale, wire funds, acknowledgment letter, work with appraiser for Form 8283, Form 8282, accounting, audit file, grant reconciliation, Board approval and then final grant wire. We require no contracts or fees with any of our charitable partners – you “hire” us by referring a donor and you “fire” us by not referring.
